Cailey is always there to support BVE's stellar team and amazing clients. She's in the background constantly perfecting systems, services and nurturing the partnerships we have with the amazing sea to sky wedding industry - all so BVE can give their best and support YOU the fullest. Her dedication to weddings and her clients shines through in the whole team, down to every dream and every detail. When Cailey isn't running the biz she's volunteering in emergency services, hiking with her toddler in a backpack, or in the mountains on a snowboard or a bike.

Blue Violet Events planned & designed Cailey’s wedding long before she owned the company - love at first sight!
She has the sweetest English accent, the cutest rescue pup and her daughter Sedona is her world.
You’d never know it, but Cailey is a total adrenaline junky. Leisurely walk? No thank you. She’ll take a downhill bike and dead lifts please!

to Alex
Simply put, flowers bring me joy and I love to share that joy with others. I am completely fascinated by the potential that exists within a nubby brown bulb to blossom into a wonderfully complex system of colour and texture. I believe that nature is the ultimate designer and love to incorporate foraged tidbits into my designs. Deep down, I’m a more-is-more kinda gal but love to also showcase the simplistic beauty of a single stem. I believe that flowers hold the potential to elevate any celebration through their intrinsic ability to brighten mood and spirit.
When not in the floral studio, I can be found skiing, biking and spending time in the forest with my family. My grandmother was a master rose gardener and I think of her every time I use a rose in my designs.

Meet Mel
Mel fronts the day of coordination department. She knows every venue like the back of her hand and what it takes to execute the smoothest day for you and your guests. Mel wears many hats. As an Engineer by day Mel is definitely the brains behind the operation. Any questions you have about your day, she can answer! She's seen it all! Mel is the Whistlerite on the team, long term local, mountain lover, dog whisperer.

In her other life Mel is a Project Manager and Engineer so her skills transfer perfectly into executing your dream day and finding solutions to anything and everything that may or may not happen!
Also born and bread in the UK, Mel has an equally, but very different sweet accent to Cailey and has also met the most famous person from England.
Happiest in the outdoors, you will typically find her in the mountains or by the ocean, always with her four legged side kick by her side.

Meet Claire
Claire comes from a strong background in the event industry. After years of leading catering teams at weddings she knew her passion was in planning and after joining BVE she has never looked back. She’ll be emailing you the perfect spreadsheet, calling your vendors to make sure they didn’t miss the fine print, and triple checking your menu with the caterer. This is just who she is - and it’s the best damn thing ever! She is the logistics pro on our team and can make anything work!
When Claire isn’t hustling to create the perfect timeline for you, she’s likely spending time in her mountain town of Pemberton or exploring with her two girls and husband.
Little Things - Originally from Fife Scotland she came to Whistler in 2007 to coach the Whistler Freeride Club and fell in love with B.C and made it their home
She is a foodie and loves nothing more than the pop of the first champagne cork at a wedding
Freeride skiing is her passion so when she's not executing perfect details for you day, she's on the slopes!
